Rolf is a polyglot and citizen of the world. Rolf was born in Norway, has a Venezuelan mother and German father, lived in Zambia when little and was educated in Norway, England & Scotland.
Probably as a result of a confused identity he has an insatiable appetite for communications and understanding what makes people tick. This resulted in him observing Voodoo ceremonies in Brazil to being smuggled into Prague during the Velvet Revolution - in other words he’s fascinated by experiences and insights which drive greater understanding and allow us to communicate ideas better…
After graduating with an MA in History & Sociology from Edinburgh University (Scotland) he left for the bright lights of London England and worked in leading advertising agencies such as Anderson & Lembke, Tequila and McCann Erickson. His experience covers branding, contact marketing and sales conversion encompassing - advertising, direct marketing, promotions and point of sale. Moreover, he has benefited from working on domestic and international accounts ranging from award winning work for VW, Jeep, The Royal Bank of Scotland, Virgin Direct, Nestle, Nescafe to Northrop Grumman to name but a few…
Rolf is fluent in Norwegian and can get by in Swedish and Spanish when the need arises… and in order to gain some balance, literally, he can be found rowing in Vancouver’s Coal Harbour in his mahogany racing single boat…
